Questions about MoG and MoG's work

MoG is duly incorporated as Not-for-Profit Charitable organization in New York State and also a 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt organization in the United State of America. The name stood for ‘Ministry of Giving Inc.

We are headquartered in New York City, USA and have field offices in multiple cities in Africa nation; Nigeria and Benin Republic precisely.

Our goal is to put smiles in the faces of the underprivilege in the society by showing acts of kindness in educating poor children, feeding the hungry, assist the widows and their children, care for the elderly and the downtrodden in the remote and shutout communities. And aim is to reach as many people as possible globally and currently we operate in six locations in 5 different countries (USA, Nigeria, Benin Republic, Togo, and Niger Republic). And we hope to reach more nations where vulnerable and less privileged people can benefit immensely to our service to humanity.

Currently we have hundreds of individuals and numbers of U.S. corporations, foundations and other organizations support MoG since the start in 2021 and officially launched in 2022. We also obtain funding and commodities from private agencies, and we hope to begin to receive from the European Union and the United Nations soon.

MoG generally doesn’t recruit volunteers for fieldwork, for several reasons:

  • Whenever possible, MoG works with local people in order to expand skills and knowledge in a country, as well as to ensure sustainability.
  • Often, local laws prohibit or severely restrict the use of foreign volunteers.
  • Most of our programs require specific expertise and several years of experience in international development and relief.
  • Using volunteers internationally can be very costly in regard to airfare, meals, and lodging.

However, we do occasionally need volunteers to assist with events. Read more about volunteering and other organizing opportunities.

There are several ways you and/or your company can get involved in MoG’s poverty-fighting mission.
